On Monday, KeyBank and Action for a Better Community Inc. (ABC) announced a new initiative to help more people get jobs.
KeyBank made it possible through a $300,000 investment, which will help develop a workforce training program at ABC. It’s expected to be called the “Energy Conservation Training Program,” which, according to officials, will prepare workers for careers in home weatherization, home repair, as well as maintenance and installation of energy conservation measures.
KeyBank writes ABC a $300,000 check for its new program, “Energy Conservation Training,” which was unveiled Monday morning.
