As the morning unfolds, we will shine a spotlight on four remarkable volunteers and a corporation, presenting them with prestigious awards that symbolize their exceptional contributions.

The esteemed Signature Citizen of the Year Award, initiated in 2001, is our tribute to a community member whose professional work and volunteerism have paved the way for opportunities that enhance the quality of life in our community.

The James M. McCuller Award for Excellence, established in 1994, pays homage to individuals who embody the qualities exemplified by the late James McCuller, former ABC Executive Director. This award recognizes those who, like McCuller, are dedicated to constant self-improvement and service to others.

Since 1984, the Lena M. Gantt Distinguished Community Service Award has been a symbol of recognition for an individual whose dedicated community service mirrors the life work of Lena M. Gantt, a devoted community advocate.

The Elliott Landsman Head Start Community Volunteer Award acknowledges a Head Start community volunteer whose leadership and commitment reflect the extraordinary support and passion embodied by Elliott Landsman.

The ABC Corporate Citizen Award will be given to the entity that epitomizes the promise of community action and has demonstrated a commitment to the values of inclusion, diversity, equity, and justice. The successful corporation will have worked to increase advancement opportunities for families from historically marginalized communities in Monroe and Ontario counties.
