Strengthening Working Families Initiative Virtual Child Care Resource Fair

Rochester Rehabilitation Center’s Strengthening Working Families Initiative (SWFI) will host a virtual fair on various child care resources available in Monroe County. The Fair will occur on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. This event is open to the public, including parents, businesses, child care providers and service providers. Working families and/or parents enrolled or seeking to enroll in an educational and training program are highly encouraged to attend. Businesses and other organizations are also invited to come and learn how they can better support parents. The event aims to increase community awareness of available child care resources, an effort coordinated by local child care subsidy and navigational services programs. Additionally, attendees will receive information on the legal rights of parents in the workplace and in rental housing.
