Throughout the morning, we’ll honor four exceptional volunteers and one organization, presenting prestigious awards to celebrate their contributions to our community. Each award highlights the unique legacy and values of past and present leaders who continue to inspire positive change.

Signature Citizen of the Year Award

Since 2001, the Signature Citizen of the Year Award has recognized individuals whose professional and volunteer efforts have expanded opportunities and improved the quality of life for all in our community.

James M. McCuller Award for Excellence

Established in 1994, this award celebrates individuals who, like the late James McCuller—former ABC Executive Director—embody a commitment to self-improvement and service to others.

Lena M. Gantt Distinguished Community Service Award

First presented in 1984, this award honors those who dedicate their lives to community service, mirroring the legacy of Lena M. Gantt, a devoted advocate for positive change.

ABC Corporate Citizen Award

The ABC Corporate Citizen Award is presented to an organization that exemplifies community action and values of inclusion, diversity, equity, and justice. This award celebrates a corporation that has actively advanced opportunities for historically marginalized families in Monroe and Ontario counties.
