Strategies 2 Success Plus
What is the S2S+?
Strategies to Success Plus (also known as S2S+ or Teen Leadership Alumni) is a federally and county-funded follow-up program for high school students who completed the Strategies 2 Success middle school program, or participated in Summer Youth Employment.
In this next chapter, youth get to decide which projects will most benefit the youth in their communities by actively inhabiting community spaces and interacting with community members during their meeting times. The leaders also write a Youth As Resources (YAR) grant and carry out a service learning project. This program is a stipend position.
What Does S2S+ Do?
Supplies guidance in short-term and long-term goals
Advises and guides job choices and career paths
Provides event planning opportunities
Builds and encourages leadership skills among peers
Advocates for community, inclusion, and awareness
Improves confidence in teams and public speaking

Participant Eligibility
- Grades 9-12 that completed Strategies 2 Success or Summer Youth Employment
- US citizenship or legal US residency
