Family Opportunities Created Utilizing Support

Description of Services: FOCUS is a family self-sufficiency project. Participants commit to a minimum of 15 weeks to explore the needs of their family and learn new ways to move toward their goals and revisit their dreams.
Focus families will identify services, resources and people who can help them get what they need to succeed. We assist with personal interviews, mock employment interviews as well as internet researching for employment, fact gathering and educational opportunities in our new computer lab. We do fun self assessments, where we answer a series of questions to discover our gifts and talents. Other activities will require us to take risks, try new things, talk to new people and share with our peers.
Weekly topics include:
- Dare to Dream & The Plan to Get There
- Finances
- It’s Your Health
