To implement the Head Start Performance Standards in the overall management of the classroom, including social, physical, and intellectual growth, and providing a safe, healthy environment for the enrolled children. | |||

| Qualifications | ||||
| Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience with a working level knowledge in the use of a personal computer. Requires NYS Teachers' Certification. One to two years experience teaching in an early childhood setting. Requires a working level knowledge of early childhood developmentally appropriate practices. Requires administrative, analytical, evaluative, and oral and written communication skills. An aptitude for training and motivating people. Requires the health and physical capability to work in an office or classroom. Ability to lift children weighing up to 40 lbs. Must posses and maintain a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation. | ||||
