The 2016 Group Workcamp is an annual event sponsored by Action for a Better Community, Inc. and Group Cares based in Loveland, Co.  The program is designed to benefit income eligible home owners effect needed repairs they either cannot afford or have the ability to do themselves. Each year, youth from around the county come to our community to provide home repair services to 50 resident home owners who are elderly, low-income, and/or disabled.  Over the course of one week, July 24th – 28th, youth work on projects that include painting of homes (interior/exterior), repairing porches, constructing wheelchair ramps, and other minor repairs.  The youth DO NOT repair roofs, windows, electricity, plumbing, floors or redecorate kitchens.  Participation in the camp is FREE of charge. 

Monthly Income requirements are as follows: $1,216 for single person; $1,639 for a family of 2; $2,061 for a family of 3.
